W5 – Long live the Victory of Chairman Mao’s Revolutionary Line in Literature and Art

From 1964 to 1967, various literary and art groups created and performed a number of modern themes. These plays have been innovated in terms of subject matter and expression techniques, and have a great influence. From May to June 1967, eight modern plays, such as The Red Lantern, were shown in Beijing and subsequently quickly promoted throughout the country. The so-called “literary revolution” of Jiang Qing’s group is essentially cultural autocracy. During the Cultural Revolution, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued this set of revolutionary model opera stamps to promote the victory of Mao Zedong’s revolutionary literary line.

From January 30th to May 1st, 1968, in order to promote and promote modern drama, the original Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued a set of 9 texts, “Full Long Victory of the Revolutionary Literary Route of Chairman Mao”. This set of stamps is based on the principle of “not living on stamps”. It is not in the form of stills. It is based on the “model play” color photos issued by Xinhua News Agency at that time. It is drawn by the stamp designer. It really shapes the modern drama. Character image. The stamps attached are a set of products that are sold out.
