W15 – Congratulating Publication of 8th National Congress of the Communist Party of China

From October 13 to 31, 1968, the 12th Plenary Session of the Eighth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China was held in Beijing. At the meeting, Mao Zedong spoke on the issue of the “Cultural Revolution.” He believes: “This great proletarian cultural revolution is absolutely necessary for consolidating the dictatorship of the proletariat, preventing the restoration of capitalism and building socialism. It is very timely.” The plenary session approved the “Report on the Investigation of the Crimes of the Traitor, the Internal Rape, and the Worker Thief Liu Shaoqi” and made a resolution to “removed the party forever and revoked all duties within and outside the party”.
